One of the reasons I became a physician assistant is to be able to spend time with patients and understand their needs. I believe in a team philosophy and being a physician assistant allows me to be a team member while providing comprehensive care to patients.

I have been in the specialty of neurosurgery for several years and I have found an interest in treating patients with spinal stenosis. Those patients experience pain, weakness, reduced walking tolerance, and tingling sensations. It is rewarding to be part of the neurosurgical treatment team to ultimately bring these patients relief from their symptoms and an improved quality of life. The specialty of neurosurgery has been very fulfilling from that perspective.

Outside of work, I can be found running or biking with my husband in the Wausau area neighborhoods. I also spend time in my Fox Valley home town playing with my niece in her playhouse, or reading her an endless stack of books.
